This last weekend was so much fun! Friday morning my best best friend Leah came to visit all the way from Madison, Wisconsin. I missed school so I could pick her up from SFO. I took her to Haight St. and got super lost and almost got into a few accidents, as you can tell I don't normally drive in the city. We had a slice of pizza and caught up on our lives from the last time we saw each other, about two years ago, up until the day before she arrived. We instantly clicked and I knew our friendship was real. Later that night we went to a party C and A had invited us to up in Santa Rosa. Anthony picked us up and soberly drove us there and back, he's such a sweet guy. Leah and I had so much fun, we scraped everyone in beer pong and just had an overall good time. The next day we played tennis at my local courts, it was a great match, because we both played #4 singles on our school's tennis teams. I then took her to Tiburon and we had lunch at Sam's in the sun laughing at old times and watching seagulls snatch food. We got gelato, she got caramel and I had chocolate mmmm... then we went to the Village and walked around the too expensive mall. After that we were pretty tired so we stayed at home and watched Almost Famous. Even though my friends Shannon, Elaine, Lauren, & Kelsey all called me telling us to get to a party we just decided to chill, heard it was boring anyways. Then Sunday we took the bus to Union Square. We splurged and decided to shop. I got a pretty dark green top with sparkly brown beads and a pair of light washed jeans from Forever 21. I am happy with my decision even though my bank account is hurting a little. We then met up with our camp friend Leo who lives in the wonderful city of San Francisco. He took us to a cute restaurant called Blue Barn on Chestnut St. We had great caesar salads and basil tomato soup. We all bonded over memories of Israel even though I was never that close with Leo to begin with, but it was a good time for sure. Then Leah and I had time to kill before her flight so we took the bus to the Metreon and saw the new movie Crazies. It was super scary! I broke L's arm from squeezing it too much Haha! Our last of many adventures was Japan town with L and the parents. We had california rolls and shrimp tempura...talk about spending too much on food! But I had a great time and it was so worth all the money I spent. I miss her already, she is my best friend and my sister. Hopefully I can visit her this summer in Madison, I've always wanted to go there! We have such a strong friendship I'm sure we will meet again in our long fulfilling lives.
